Find Your Virtu Size
At virtushop.com.au we style all our clothes with plus size women in mind and take pride in making clothes that fit comfortably and look great. Alpha Sizing (XXS – XL)
When looking at our garments that are in alpha sizing (XXS-XL), it is important to remember that Virtu is plus sized clothing – so just because you are a XL in a non-plus sized label doesn't mean you're an XL in Virtu. In virtu sizing, an XXS is a 12. To make it easier to understand we've provided a size guide which equates to numerical sizing.
Measuring Tips
- All our measurements are in centimetres.
- When measuring, the tape should be firm, but not tight, with the measuring tape flat against the body.
- Measure over your underwear.
- For the highest accuracy, measure several times and take the most common measurement.

Body Measurements
Bust
Measure your bust at the fullest part of your chest, with your arms down at your sides.
Waist
To correctly measure your waist, you first need to find your natural waist. Your natural waist is not your tummy; it's the narrowest part of your torso, right below your rib cage. Hold the tape firm, but not tight against your body.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs, where your wrists touch your legs when your arms are down.
Garment Measurements
Inside Leg
The Inside Leg measurement is taken from the crotch of the garment down to the hem.
Centre Back Measurement (CBM)
Knowing your Centre Back Measurement (CBM) will help you understand where a garment will finish on your own body. We provide the CBM of every style so you know the length of that garment from neck-point to the hemline. By comparing it to your own CBM measurement you understand how long/short that garment will be on your body.
Your CBM starts from your neck bone as this is where most garments naturally start on the body. Measure down the centre of you back (along your spine) to either your waist, hip or ankle, depending on what style of garment you are looking at purchasing.
TS14+ Customers
If you are a TS14+ customer and are familiar with the TS14+ sizing, please be aware that some Virtu styles may be more generous due to the look, feel, styling and fabrics used in the Virtu collections.
Those in-between moments…
If your measurements show that you are between sizes, we recommend considering how you want to wear the item. Look closely at the Product Description on each style – not only will it give you details of the styling and cut, we always include any additional fit or fabric information pertaining to that garment. If you want to wear it loose you have the option to go up a size. If you are going for a more fitted look that accentuates your curves you can purchase the smaller size.
Colours
Please note that the true colours of some of the Virtu garments may vary slightly from what you see on your screen as every computer screen shows colours a bit differently. Fit depends on styling, cut and fabric so finding clothes that fit isn't always a straightforward process, if you're still unsure after following our instructions, please call our Customer Service Centre on AU - 1800 084 788 or NZ 0800 445 512 or Intl +61 3 9916 0786
