Bought the cognac, good fit I wear an M. Material is very thin, better as a mid season top. Hope it washes ok but with a bit of poly it shouldn't be a problem.

I am pleased to know that I can see and try on the Virtu range in the TS14 stores. I have not been confident enough to purchase online. This is my first Virtu garment that I have purchased. I have the Halcyon Top in Camel and Black. It is great for the in between seasons. This top can be dressed up or worn as a casual look with Jeans. I will be purchasing more of this range now that it is in some of your TS14 stores.

I bought the cognac colour and it looks so dressy casual with black Virtu pants, medium heels and a splash of gold jewellery. The style and cut is perfect and so flattering and the lightweight material can be layered either underneath with a cami or with my black Alexa cardi and still not be too bulky under a coat for winter! Love the versatility of layering..very practical.

Great in between top, I wear it with a singlet underneath when the weather is warm and a long sleeve top when it is a bit cooler,

Fabric is sheer - you can see any dark coloured underwear through the fabric, and it pilled very badly after only 2 wears. Not good enough to wear out anymore, and I've only worn it a few times. I buy alot from Virtu and have never had a problem like this! Very unhappy with this purchase - and it wasn't cheap either! Buyer beware!

The Halcyon top was my first Virtu purchase and I'm really happy with it - love the colour (cognac) and the wieght and feel of the fabric. I expect to wear it often in the autumn.

This is the perfect weekend shirt. Ijust throw it on either over a black skirt with boots or dark jeans and have great compliments. The hemline is very flattering and skims over the problem tummy area without drawing attention to it.

The Halcyon Top features long sleeves, scooped neck, patch pockets, longer hem line at back and curve skimming drape. It embraces two colour trends: Grey and Camel, why not pick up both?

Alpha Sizing (XXS - XL)

When looking at our garments that are in alpha sizing (XXS-XL), it is important to remember that Virtu is plus sized clothing - so just because you are a XL in a non-plus sized label doesn't mean you're an XL in Virtu. In Virtu sizing, an XXS is a 12.
To make it easier to understand we've provided a size guide which equates to numerical sizing.

Measuring Tips

- All our measurements are in centimetres.
- When measuring, the tape should be firm, but not tight, with the measuring tape flat against the body.
- Measure over your underwear.
- If possible, have someone to help you measure to ensure the tape does not move

Bust

Measure your bust at the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

To correctly measure your waist, you first need to find your natural waist. Bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waist, straighten up and measure around this point.

Hips

Standing with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Garment Measurements
Why is it important?

We provide the Inside Leg or Centre Back Measurement for each style in the product description. These are provided to help you understand where a garment will finish on your own body. The Inside Leg measurement tells you the length of a pair of pants or shorts and the Centre Back Measurement tells you the length of a top, jacket or shirt.

Inside Leg

The Inside Leg measurement is taken from the crotch of the garment
down to the hem.

Centre Back Measurement (CBM)

The Centre Back Measurement (CBM) is the length of the garment. For tops, dresses & jackets this point is generally taken from the back of your neck bone to the hemline. For skirts this is taken from where you would naturally wear your skirt to the hemline.

TS14+ Customers

If you are a TS14+ customer and are familiar with the TS14+ sizing, please be aware that some Virtu styles may be more generous due to the look, feel, styling and fabrics used in the Virtu collections. Please refer to the Stylist's Tips on the product for further sizing information.

Those in-between moments…

If your measurements show that you are between sizes, we recommend considering how you want to wear the item. Look closely at the Product Description on each style – not only will it give you details of the styling and cut, we always include any additional fit or fabric information pertaining to that garment. If you want to wear it loose you have the option to go up a size. If you are going for a more fitted look that accentuates your curves you can purchase the smaller size.

Colours

Please note that the true colours of some of the Virtu garments may vary slightly from what you see on your screen as every computer screen shows colours a bit differently.
