i liked them but didn't love them. The concept is fine, and many people will have been doing just this for years, using regular department store bike shorts. The fabric of these disappointed me most - it was quite thin and after only a couple of wears it is beginning to become "saggy" - I would love a pair in the Ventura fabric used in the exercise gear range (and maybe even using the same styling as the crop pants but in short length. Sizing is generous.

These are great - bought 2 in white and going back for black. I have had to buy guys cotton lycra bike shorts in a sports store to do this same under dress job before.

I've bought white and black shorts, and love them. Even today I wore mine under my work suit, just gives that bit extra warmth on the legs without wearing stockings. Recommended item for a wardrobe basic.

Love these for underneath dresses. These saved my thighs from chaffing during this summer. They are a generous size and do stretch so will probably buy another pair in a smaller size

A great idea and generally comfortable but the leg probably needs to be slightly longer (another 1 or 2cms) as the fabric rides up with wear .

These just arrived in the post. I took a big risk ordering 3 pairs but figured it would be a good way to "test out" Virtushop's returns policy. Imagine my utter joy to find that these wonderful "Under Frock" pants actually fit! They feel amazing. So comfortable and light. They feel as if they'll be a pleasure to wear during hot summer days. Fantastic idea. Been doing this for years with bike shorts and the like. Fit true to size, dont ride up and wash well. However, they really are just glorified crop leggings. The cotton will breathe well..........but for the price i will be on the look out for others on sale else where that are slightly thinner. They could also come in a nude.......... If you have never wore these under skirts or dresses and suffer from chaffing.....give thema try, you wont be disappointed.

I love these shorts. I've steered clear of dresses for years because of the chaffing problem, but these shorts solve that issue! And they're comfortable & breathable to boot. I've found them to be a bit on the generous side though, so it pays to try them on.

Great to stop chaffing, no need to take other preventative measures! Light enough to wear under dresses in warmer weather, I did find that my shorts loosened up after a couple of wears, so would get next size down next time.

Lovely soft cool light fabric. Comfortable to wear even in the heat wave conditions of this summer. Makes wearing a dress a pleasure. Well done. I found them a bit on the big size, bought XXS when I usually take a 16 or M for Virtue pants, leggings etc. Length just right for a five footer.

I used to buy a version of these when I lived in the UK but have had trouble finding anything since returning to Oz. Am I glad that I discovered them on here - goodbye messy chafing powders and embarrassing applications in the toilets at lunch! Now I can wear skirts and dresses all day regardless of the heat and humidity! Do yourself a favour and get a couple of pairs :)

I love these shorts. I wear them all the time now. Under dresses an skirts, or just with a long blouse or T shirt over the top. They are not tight, but really do stop a lot of the wobbly bits moving about. If you know what I mean. :-)
