The combination of fibers in the Long Island Pants are so fantastic for a Queensland summer. Easy wearing and you stay cool. You can dress the pants up or down. The pants are really crease resistant and survived a complete day of wear. I was so impressed with these pants I am going to purchase another pair.

Very nice trousers. I ordered the black in 16 but 14 would have been better as they are on the generous side for size. I have since ordered the white in 14 as I like these trousers very much.

My Long Island Pants arrived yesterday. I am thrilled with the fit and they are SO comfy. I would love that they had a slightly shorter leg for those of us who don't have legs as long as others . It would also be great if they came in other colors as well as white.

These pants are generous in size and would suggest you go down a size. If you are over 5'9 you may find that they are a little short in the leg, but you do have the option to wear as 3/4 pants and they look great.

The Long Island Pant will be your summer basic linen pant. Featuring full length that can be tabbed up to ¾ length, back waist elastic, front and back flat pockets, side cargo pockets and a snap button and fly opening.

Regular Fit - has shape from waist to hip, but with a relaxed fit through leg.
Inside leg measures 76cm from top of inside seam to hemline.
Waist measures 92cm on a size 16.
Linen/Cotton
Linen is a natural fiber combined with man-made fibers to improve crease resistance and wash ability.
It is comfortable to wear and is a good conductor of heat in summer.
Cotton is a natural fiber that gives this garment great breathing ability.

Alpha Sizing (XXS - XL)

When looking at our garments that are in alpha sizing (XXS-XL), it is important to remember that Virtu is plus sized clothing - so just because you are a XL in a non-plus sized label doesn't mean you're an XL in Virtu. In Virtu sizing, an XXS is a 12.
To make it easier to understand we've provided a size guide which equates to numerical sizing.

Measuring Tips

- All our measurements are in centimetres.
- When measuring, the tape should be firm, but not tight, with the measuring tape flat against the body.
- Measure over your underwear.
- If possible, have someone to help you measure to ensure the tape does not move

Body Measurements
Bust

Measure your bust at the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

To correctly measure your waist, you first need to find your natural waist. Bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waist, straighten up and measure around this point.

Hips

Standing with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Garment Measurements
Why is it important?

We provide the Inside Leg or Centre Back Measurement for each style in the product description. These are provided to help you understand where a garment will finish on your own body. The Inside Leg measurement tells you the length of a pair of pants or shorts and the Centre Back Measurement tells you the length of a top, jacket or shirt.

Inside Leg

The Inside Leg measurement is taken from the crotch of the garment
down to the hem.

Centre Back Measurement (CBM)

The Centre Back Measurement (CBM) is the length of the garment. For tops, dresses & jackets this point is generally taken from the back of your neck bone to the hemline. For skirts this is taken from where you would naturally wear your skirt to the hemline.

TS14+ Customers

If you are a TS14+ customer and are familiar with the TS14+ sizing, please be aware that some Virtu styles may be more generous due to the look, feel, styling and fabrics used in the Virtu collections. Please refer to the Stylist's Tips on the product for further sizing information.

Those in-between moments…

If your measurements show that you are between sizes, we recommend considering how you want to wear the item. Look closely at the Product Description on each style – not only will it give you details of the styling and cut, we always include any additional fit or fabric information pertaining to that garment. If you want to wear it loose you have the option to go up a size. If you are going for a more fitted look that accentuates your curves you can purchase the smaller size.

Colours

Please note that the true colours of some of the Virtu garments may vary slightly from what you see on your screen as every computer screen shows colours a bit differently.
