Pricing & GST
All prices on the Virtu website are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) as the default currency, but we do offer a currency converter on our website. The prices listed in foreign currencies are only an approximation and we are not able to take responsibility for currency exchange fluctuations when the charges are debited from your credit card.
International orders do not attract the Australian GST (10% goods & services tax) and this will be reflected on your order confirmation.
Virtu accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. All credit card payments are processed by Direct Payment Solutions (DPS) who have been providing online card processing for over 10 years. At the time you place your order, your credit card is pre-approved. Actual payment is processed through a secure process one we have packed your order and it is ready for shipping. Due to stock availability, your order may be split and shipped as pieces become available. This may therefore result in split charges on your credit card.
Sometimes your credit card may show two charges from us on your account. Often what appears to be a second charge is actually an "authorisation pledge" or "hold" that is placed on your account when your order is confirmed and may continue to appear for up to 5-7 days. After this time, it should disappear. If this does not occur, please contact us with the name and head office fax number of your financial institution. We will contact them on your behalf to have them reverse the initial authorisation charge for you.
Please allow 5 – 10 business days for processing and 7-20 days for international shipping. You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. On occasion, some shipments may take up to 5 weeks to arrive, depending on the amount of time it may take for a parcel to clear customs.
Availability/In Stock dates for pre-ordered styles are listed against each item. Once a style is available the standard delivery of 7-20 days for international shipping applies. You may check the status of your order at any time by signing into your account.
